What is a head spa treatment?
A head spa treatment is a deep-cleansing and nourishing treatment for the scalp and hair. Treatments are for ALL hair types and conditions including gray/white, or color treated hair, naturally curly or permed hair, frizzy or smooth hair, thin, brittle, and damaged hair – or simply for the man or woman who wants to prioritize relaxation and self-care.
Our head spa experience is a transformative and holistic approach to maintaining beauty and wellness inspired by ancient rituals that engage the hair, the scalp, and the soul.
We start with scalp and skin analysis using specialized equipment to help us determine your hair and scalp condition and needs. We then determine what products to use and customize every detail of your treatment. Steps will include deep exfoliation, thorough cleansing, detoxification, balancing, and massage, using organic hair care products. We use traditional Ayurvedic massage techniques applying gentle pressure on specific areas of the scalp to release built-up tension and increase circulation to hair follicles.

Our REBALANCING Head Spa Treatment for skin and hair with excess sebum. Skin with more or less defined yellow spots and shiny skin, yellow spots with oily strands, and/or oil with clumps of dandruff.
This is a bespoke head spa treatment for skin and hair with excess sebum (oily types). Detoxifying and dermo-purifying, this treatment balances the state of the scalp prone to seborrhea imbalances. Deep rebalancing and anti-inflammatory action detoxes and normalizes the hair and scalp.

Hydrodhara Flowerfall Drip

Hydrodhara is deeply rooted in traditional Ayurvedic medicine and involves a gentle flow of Flowerfall water combined with essential oils, and poured over the forehead and scalp, which indirectly stimulates the pituitary gland to release tension, stress, and deliver nutrients to the hair and scalp. Shirodhara Ayurvedic Oil Drip

Shirodhara is a traditional Ayurvedic therapy that involves pouring a gentle stream of warm oil on the forehead to soothe and revitalize the nervous system. It is known for its ability to ease anxiety, eliminate toxins, mental exhaustion, and relieve stress. This ritual is designed to deepen the effects of your overall treatment, as we massage the temples and scalp to calm the mind and promote relaxation. Additionally, it supports physical, mental, and emotional health and balances all three doshas. Studies have shown this treatment to have incredibly calming effects on the body and mind, and the research suggests it may improve sleep quality and help manage insomnia. Note: Please be mindful the oil can stain clothing and sheets; dress accordingly.
AFTER CARE: What to do following Shirodhara treatment
- Leave the liquid on for at least 1-3 hours before you shower
- Eat a light meal after your treatment
- Drink plenty of warm water or herbal tea
- Try to avoid stimulants including caffeine which may counteract the benefits of your treatment.
